Tolmezzo, the administrative centre of Carnia, extends over the large valley of Tagliamento river, leaving the first mountain slopes to the small and typical villages. Take a break and visit Tolmezzo. You will discover an unique alpine town for its elegant noble buildings, the ancient churches and the suggestive small streets of the historic center. A pleasant stroll through arcades and covered walkways will bring you in the lively heart of the town, with its boutique, gastronomic laboratories, cinema and theater.
At the entrance of Carnia, Amaro is the village of the streams, of the falls, of the little ponds.
